Few of us are meeting at bp J'ville at 17:45, then heading to the duck pond.
Well....it seemed like a good idea at the time....
Coming from town, the 4th bridge over to the Hutt from the motorway (The 4 are Petone/Eastborne, Hutt Rd, Melling and then KGB). It's the one to the Avalon television studios, known as the Kennedy Good bridge (but I don't think that name is on any signs).
As you run donw from the bridge the park is on the left ... the one with all the bikes in.
Being your wets Brooklyns clouding over southlys on the way still ,will see you at the duck pond
It just rained.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
It just hailed (Still is)
It hailed in Ngaio too. And it's still raining. Freezing cold southerly. This wimp is going to stay home in front of the heater. Best wishes to any and all Brave Souls!
"Standing on your mother's corpse you told me that you'd wait forever." [Bryan Adams: Summer of 69]
I didn't even bring wets to work!
I'll be all pink and shrunken when I get home!

Eleven brave souls rode from the Duck Pond to Paekakariki hill lookout and back to the Sandbar. First ride of the season - you had to be there.
Twas interesting and nice to see you all. But I've been on Brass Monkeys that were warmer.
Maybe things will improve as summer (assuming there is one) draws closers
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

I dont know....some of you lot...a few spots of rain and you're running for the heater.
We got a bit of a shower at the duckpond, but rode out of the rain going up Haywards. A good blat up the Paekak Hill, a few damp corners made it more interesting.
Well done those that turned up, the TCWNR season has officially started
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
