R.I.P Richard one of the unsung geniuses of the best band in the world. Dark Side of the Moon was the album that really had the most profound affect upon me and I can still see me listening to it for the first time and being completely blown away. All lthough there had been an incident when I was about 3 when my dad was playing it to my gran through headphones and I turned the volume up full blast just as the intro to Time was playing. You would never guess I didn't really like ym gran much, nearly deafened her!! Still brings a smile to my face even now.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ

    A sad sad day indeed

    R.I.P Rick

At the age of 16 I had collected 20 Pink Floyd tapes & still to this day have almost all of their work, THE best band in the world, hands down. Ive been to an enormous amount of concerts spanning 34 years with some of the top names in music & would have to say the 1988 Pink Floyd concert at Western Springs was the best (Dire Straits in 1985 at Mount Smart an easy 2nd)

Music died some where around 1996 I think, the legends live on
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
