    Quasimoto's cord/leather mix jacket - Reviews?

Have you ever used Quasi's Cordura and Leather Mix jacket?

    Comments?

I'm looking for new gear at the mo, and Quasi have this jacket on their September Special... Anyone used it? Comments? Good or bad?

    Cheers!

Don't you hate it when you're eyeing something on trademe, and waiting for it to get close to the closing time so you can put in a bid in the last few minutes so that no one else will bid above you?

Could just put an autobid in, I know... but there seems to be lots of people waiting for the auction to expire and then asking for a lower price. If they see my bid, then they'll jump in and start a bidding war!!

I even just noticed that my shoulders are crouched in, like a character in CounterStrike sneaking around a corner so as to make as small a target as possible...

    What a loser!

TradeMe has auto-extend anyway. So if another person is also monitoring the auction when it's about to expire, you'll have a bidding war.

You should have jumped in earlier Quasi. I know you didn't want to be seen to be blowing your own horn.. but sometimes you gotta!

Hopefully be back to see you in a month or two - this time with my bike - to get that jacket and pants!

Bloody expensive way of life this motorcycling lark.

    (even with Quasi's great pricing!!!)

Will the cult of Quasimoto come to worship and condemn the infidel who bought leathers made by a different company...

Quasi will tell you that I went to them first to see what they had, waited 12 days for a reply that didn't come, then reminded them through PM before getting a reply saying that they didn't have what I was after.

You didn't have what I was looking for, at the price I was looking for, someone else did. Grow up and deal with it.

I'm not sure anyone else would call Dainese leathers "average"... They only make stuff for Rossi, Troy Bayliss, Max Biaggi, Ducati branded leathers etc...

    Sour grapes?

    Yup. True dat.
While I like buying bike gear, when you wear it every day, it needs replacing frequentlyish, and that's not cheap.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

So Quasi, would I refer to you as "he" or "she"? You have an arrow next to your name, but signed off PM's with a chick's name...
