    Yamaha sr500 internal fork bush

    hey - does anyone have or know someone that has a set of internal fork bushes for a 1981 sr500 h?
    i need some - none in NZ i'm told...

    Picture and size of existing??.........Its possible a similar bush could be modified to suit!

    no pics as yet.

    the forks are with my mechanic.
    apparently the bush isn't available separately from the fork tube.
    trying to find a second hand fork - will get pics if i can't get one soonish.

    Ken the removable bush is most likely something like a 'glycodur' bush. Find a size and see if someone like Auckland bearings can help. Mechanics [no matter how good] are not interested or arguably that capable of adaption when the need arises-a good Engineer would easily [and cheaply] create a suitable solution.
