The Fiat Yamaha team has taken a radical new direction by basing it on a Fiat instead of a Yamaha!

I didn't see Rossi when I was in Italia, but I did see a Rossi-rep scooter.
And my wife tried to get me to buy a Rossi cap at some truckstop. I would have, except it was summat like 26 or 28 Euro. I'm not that big a fan.

I had a mate who was always saying how wonderful Fiats are, and how they have a long and illustrious racing history, and always bagged Jap crap as he called it. Funny how they have to sponsor a Japanese motorcycle to get the exposure they want.

Rossi is a legend though, but it gets a bit worn when everybody and his dog has "the doctor" on his helmet and/or leathers. There's too many groupies. So unfortunately I'm not going to be one of the sheep buying Rossi merchandise. I'll just keep watching his racing and appreciating the art form that is Rossi on a bike.
