Wow,that's an impressive example, although the side covers don't match the tank and um...blue fork gaiters?? I reckon that's what they will go for soon, but only got half that for mine with a boot load of spares, some new,and a complete spare engine.Kinda reminds me of my Rickman - when I tried to sell it...it was like...''what's that? did you put that engine in a Jap scrambler?'' As for the Cheney...the name still draws a blank today.I knew they were going to be worth a fortune,someday...not just the day I want to sell. The XLV750 is a one off from Honda, they are going to be worth a lot of money someday....someday....

Looks good atleast. its been droped and slid for a bit there is some scraping on the side, might explain why the side panels dont match the tank. Anyway still looks good.

The first thing they do when they fall over is wipe out the side of the tank, they are so slim wasted the side covers would be nowhere near the ground. The tank is perfect and original, even has the genuine transfers on the tank by the seat nose. That colour red is from the first red/white/blue model - I painted my whole bike that colour.

With a full tank of fuel Paul,it feels like you have a 44gal drum on your lap - and the heavy part desperatly wants to be at the bottom!

There is also a small dent on the left side of the tank just twords the front. You see it in the fourth picture just above where the tank blocks out the view of the blue shock gaurd.

Heh,heh, yeah, the XR650 is little compared to the XLV750 - as you walk up to an XLV750 you get smaller as you approach.
