i hate being on call, and then trying to fix shit when people leave shit documentation
paged at 3am try to fix at home no luck, in at work at 4 all the documenation is all out of-date and does not match current live system bastards!!
about to leave to go home, have some breakfast then might has well comeback to work and leave at midday, waste of time trying to go home sleep for a couple of hours.
Cheer up mate. You'll be in the sunny Norf Island soon.
I get to go home at 6.30.
i hate seasonal work. got bullied by winz into kiwifruit repacking. 71/2 hours standing in one spot renders my knee useless [damaged in bike vs car] to the point where i cant concentrate on anything beyond how painful it gets.
plus, there are constant layoffs [im on my 5th layoff since i started there] so im almost always down at least one days pay per week. more often than not its two days pay [$140 odd!] which means bills/rent arent being paid. and winz arent interested in helping with top ups or the like.
im hoping like hell they fire me, and then i can bitch at winz about unfair dismissal. today i am off because they have over-hired and dont have enough packing benches for all of us.
btw, who would i phone to report smoking indoors at a workplace and other laws/rules being broken on a daily basis?

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
Join the club.shift work really stuffs my sleeping patterns up.![]()
try doing a 4nights on 4 off 7pm till 7am and working on machines that when in full operation drain so much power off the grid that during peak consumption times would have to shut down.
Once they were shut down they'd start to cool and when brought back on line would take hours to get up to operating temp againquite often during winter 2 shifts would be disrupted
Or trying to operate a machine and have control taken off you by a service tech who'd remotely accessed into the operating system from off-shore to do maintenance :slap:
Or have OSH shut down the whole department because some muppet had an accident then have to wait hours until an OSH officer arrived to investigate
one can only play so much pool in the early hours of the morning![]()
Man i hate sitting in this air condtioned office with the internet and coffee all day. Getting up at 8am is a totall bitch too.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
