Good money to be made in Dubai, but be careful of what you do as you can easily get locked up for doing stuff all. My mate came back from doing 2 years over there and told stories about corrupt cops, getting shot at the odd time. Make Harlem look like Disney Land.

I agree with fire fighter.... Dubai is a good but hard place to work.
Yes I have been there quite a few times. i had 3 mates working there. One got a job in the police rescue. He loved it but found a better job back in the states.
The other two were on the construction sites.
They had accomadation paid for and got a very good wage.
Yes they did drink alot of it away and spent way too much time and money at the Cyclone
One is now in Auzzie the other went to the sand pit... Meet some guys from KBR and got a good job as a chippie in the U.S base (havent heard from him so dont know where).
If you are willing to put in the sweat then you will do well.
If you have family, You might find it hard going.
