I do agree that certain areas are predominantly darker in the complexion of the locals, and that these areas are often rougher, but this is definitely not due to the skin colour.

Try passing through the rougher areas in London, or Moscow, and see how many of the scariest faces there are white.

I personally blame the gangsta rap culture and the ease of access to benefits. Forcing people into very low paid work for the community would encourage people to find work for themselves or set up their own businesses.

In Singapore, if you have no job, they give you a bucket and mop and make you clean the public toilets for your benefit. Unemployment is about 1%.

If they can do it, I'm sure we could too, and it would sort out a lot of the attitude problems that cause the problems mentioned in this thread.

It worked in the US- they made a rule that you get a total of 5 years of your life on benefits in some state(s).

There was a rule of 3 years sickness and 2 unemployment, with a maximum 3 months on unemployment at one time and I think 9 on sickness, with proof required.

After 9 months, you get booted off, and insurance is required.

Almost all people affected have said it was good for them and they are happier, healthier and wealthier now that they are earning their keep and staying out of trouble by being at work.

Upon moving to Massey from Whenuapai (hardly a large distance) Iv'e noticed the demographic somewhat change from predominantly white to more....black.
Ok no problem there, my question is-
Why is it, that those of you who are of the tanned variety (black/whatever) feel the need to try and intimidate those in other vehicles/people walking, by trying to stare down those in other vehicles/those walking along the road? Is it in your genes? Some sort of way of marking your territory? I have never come across this in such a degree before, in such a huge magnitude.....I get stared down alot. No reason, just stared at(you know your being watched right) you look back and a car full of nig.....um tanned persons glaring at you and won't budge their gaze, as if theyr'e waiting for you to react to thereby authorise a retaliation of epic preportions.......correct? no? whats the fucken problem? Sure Iv'e had this happen before, but not everyday. I'm not doing anything different, not being particularly threatening or offensive, can someone explain this idiotic shit to me?

Na the first thing that needs to be done is to relise that Moari have died out and remove the cultural divide instead of using it, and change the attitude to actually fixing the culture of some societies in NZ.
