Congrats to Moe El Mossawi - 9th at the Mr Olympia

I don't know how many fans of bodybuilding their are here (probably just me) but New Zealander Moe El Mossawi just placed 9th in the most prestigious bodybuilding event in the world.

Also congratulations to Dexter Jackson for winning his first Mr O title after years of trying and to Phil Heath for placing 3rd in his Olympia debut.

Dexter Jackson won the Mr. Olympia? What about defending champion Jay? Or 8-time winner Ronnie, has he retired yet? He came so close to breaking the record for most Mr. O titles... Good on Dexter though, he's placed pretty high in the Mr. O in the last few years. His face reminds me of Eddie Murphy, haha.

Ronnie retired after the O last year when Jay took his second win.

Dexter should have won years ago. The judges finally opened their eyes.

Oh ok. Hasn't Victor Martinez consistently placed higher than Dexter in the past few Mr. Olympias? What happened to him this year?

It always looked like Jay and Ronnie were a class above the rest in terms of size, they just looked much bigger than the rest of the competition... except for the monster that is Markus Ruhl! He's massive!

Awesome result for the BLADE and it was a huge surprise to see the judges make that decision but looking at the photos, Dexters win was well and truly justified.

Great job Moe, top 10 at his Olympia show. Thats a mighty fine effort!

Hehehe, look at his nipples and stomach and belly button. Look like an angry face!

I wish I had `eyebrows' for my nipples!

Well done Moe! Good to see the judges taking a fresh look at competitiors too.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Unfortunately Victor tore his patella tendon while stretching (how ironic). So he had to sit out the entire 08 season. Should be battling again next year. I'm glad the mass monster era has finally come to an end.
