K-9 vs Totalspan dog

I personally think K-9 would kick the Totalspan dogs arse but apparently there are some misguided people who think not

Sure Totalspan dog is a bit more doglike, he's a bit more flexible and has more fluent english and is more of a showman which makes him a bit more likeable to certain segments of society (probably latte drinking Jaffas)

I don't think he has the intelligence of K-9 and he certainly doesn't have the combat experience of any of the K-9 units that have accommpanied the Doctor or his companions and he doesn't have a laser in his nose

Totalspan dog is just a puppet for marketing, K-9 would laser his arse until his head fell off

oh yeah it has been suggested Totalspan dog has the following strengths

Good looks, charm, personality, flair - that can carry him far. People will be so dazzled by his charm (including K9) that he can manipulate what he wants out of people... K9 will think he has found a mate, then he will be crushed... don't let that smile fool you, its his strategic plan, to make you think he is beatable - you will never see him coming

Fuck him, K-9 would slice him up for breakfast

K-9 by a mile. He's had a solid grounding fighting aliens and the like. That TotalSpan dog is just a spoilt pretty boy and has only ever done TV adverts. He lacks fighting experience. He'll have his arse kicked!

i loathe the total span dog, mostly for the tune and the ridiculous face that women made at the end of the original advert, right when the dog goes "TOOOOTAL SPAN CAN" that womens face is all pretending to laugh but not.

it's pretty irrational I know, but...so what?...pfft..fuck you...fuckin robotic dog.

d'you know in animation robotics is seen as a cheap scape way of making something popular with as little effort or skill as possible?

modeling, texturing and animation of robotics is very very easy, boxy, grey, and have flat animation curves.

not to be confused with blueskys stunning movie robots, which actually breathed life into robotics, or to a greater extent the new wall-e which takes it to the next level of character.

Wall-E just looks like a rip-off of the pure goodness that was Short Circuit.

Number 5 would fuck up any other robot out there to be honest. With the possible exception of Threepio. I never trusted him. Him and his bumbling, "I'm so harmless" persona. Oooooh you think he's friendly now, but you just wait. We'll see the TRUTH!

I wasn't sure at first, the total span dog is new to me but on studying form, I found this little episode from K9's past. Princess leia kicking K9's ass, So I guess Totalspan dog would win.
