    Help 1999 SUZUKI GSX750fF X.. Hits the 99999...

Hello and help, I wanting help on resetting my electric odometer, its hit the 99999 and even the trip-ometer will not reset. If you have any info for this as I've been in and seen the local CHCH Suzuki Shop with a wait of over two weeks for a reply being told the only way to fix it is to buy new unit ... they told me they hadn't come across this problem before, and a new unit would be over the GRAND So please if anyone out there has an idea i'ld be grateful...

There is a place in the states that resets them, don't know if there's anyone here though.

Well I'll be. I suppose in software you should always be on the look out for integer overflow -- just be thankful it didn't roll over to `-65535.0'!

    I'd start with them

Failing that, you can actually crack the unit and change the values stored inside (in 4 different places at once iirc), but that's serious shite, and you're a million times better off it you can find someone that does it.

Or you could just ignore it and use the trip meter.
