    painting black plastic mirrors/indicator stem

Both my mirrors and indicators are scratched from fall. Sand and spray low sheen black the way to go? Primer?

Sometimes black nugget can cover scratches... I guess depends on how badly damaged

If they are the same color plastic all the way thru, then use progressively finer grades of wet and dry, and polish the scratches out.

I repaired the mirrors on my old VFR like that, you could not tell afterwards.

You're a clever cookie to work that out on your own. Well done!
