Hi Phiretrojan. This is my first post on KB (joined a cupla days ago), noob haha.
I'm at work now and they block youtube so I can't see what the prob is but I can tell you that if its having trouble cold starting, turn off the fuel tap when your not gona be using it for more than a few hours. I'm guessing the carb slowly leaks fuel into the cylinder and floods it when you leave it for a long time, making it harder to start.
I do it all the time now and it starts like a dream.

Does it have enough battery? Try kick starting it. Sorry I can't help/ judge why your bike does that on Cold weather days.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

kick start it? sounds like a puckered start relay, but no idea why cold weather would affect a relay.

When we had ours we needed to put it on trickle charge due to the battery ending up sounding like that if not used for a few days ... or sounding like that if it won't start straight away.

haha, it's funny that this thread has resurrected itself after all this time. He sorted the problem peoples! It was indeed a loose battery terminal. Easy fix.
