    Yet more thieving scum

Company owner just phoned to tell me my work van has been broken into... Radar detector missing but I'm not sure what else was taken... more than likely the CD's that were in it too... now this wouldnt be such a big deal (except that thieving scum deserve to get beaten) except that yesterday the guy who tore the mirror off wanted the address so he could come and pay for it... he didnt show up... and over night this happens...... coincedence or what????

Does sound a tad suspicious, but reserve judgement for now. It's a bugger - there are far too many thieving lowlifes out there.

Had some prick break into my van last night, lights on all over the house and me only a couple of metres away in the bath,my daughter heard a noise and went out to have a look - cheeky shits, wait till we catch em one day...we got a guy staying here who's got funny belts up to instructor level...I'll get him to hold him down while I do some instruction of my own.

Man - I hate it when things like that happen. Its just so wrong... They hit my truck in the US, and when I got to it, they'd spent like 30 minutes chainsmoking in it - ugh.

I hope your insurance pays out, and that you can get your CDs and stuff back - good luck man... If you've got the titles of the CDs, PM me and I'll see if I can't get some replacements for you for this weekend...

That sucks dude, makes you feel violated.

Why can’t these pricks get a job & buy their own stuff rather than nicking other peoples probably with the excuse ‘oh they deserved to have it flogged because they weren’t carrying it with them, or the insurance will pay’ -which as you’ve found out is only a percentage or not at all.

Had my van broken into & I was a right angry prick for the next day or so.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Sorry to hear that mate! I'm guessing the radar detector was yours not the company's - will you get any insurance for it? Have you got the guys address cause you could stake out his house and check his car to see if there's any new 'mods' sitting in the front windscreen. Perhaps on the bike though - the van might not be too subtle.
Was it you I rode past in still traffick in Courtney Place last week? It was a Barbie jukebox van but I didn't know if it was yours or not.

Maybe he is selling the stuff to pay for the mirror?
