    Have a look at my thread on the XT Racing lap timers (the link's in my signature). They set them selves off (no need to push a button!!)

    I place the transmitter at the start/finish line at the start of the day. Each time past I can glance down and see how slow my last lap was.

    When I get back to the pits I can review each lap.

    I have a “flag” on my vans steering wheel so I remember the transmitter is at the start/finish line!

    I don’t have to touch a button all day its even auto on/off.

    When I get home I can review the whole day, including air temp for each race, on my PC.
