No you won't.

Your friends are concerned over his tenants threats and behaviours to you. You pointed this out to him, worried about what others might do. Its a heads up, not a threat from you. You aren't getting the friends to do anything.

Get a video camera with low light resolution and start filming the antics.

That will not only help you, but will give the police a clear picture (if they don't already have one...) and the landlord will see what you are putting up with.

there are three ways to sort this out

one is the legal method, complain to the police / noise control /dog control everytime you have a problem, gather evidence , sound recordings video, photos etc and get all the neighbours involved - adopt a zero tolerance approach, also inform IRD and social welfare of any abuses of the system - make their life hell so that they can not move without something coming down on them - grassing them up to ird and social welfare is particulary satisfying as it hurts them where it hurts most, in the pocket

two is get somebody / bodies bigger than they are and put the fear of god into them - not recommended unless you really do have the back up to go all the way with this method

three just move and leave somebody else with the problem

sending emails to their landlord is a waste of time - it antagonises the situation and they can later be used against you as evidnece by them laying a charge of harrassment

2. Depends on what happens with #1...
3. Why should she? 1 and 2 will make THEM move. THEY are the ones who are causing the problems and are the ones who should go. I hear there is a place right next door to the Mongrel Mob pad somewhere down the line, up for sale at a reasonable price because it got fire bombed by accident. These neighbours should move in there.....
