Thank you guys for your support

I wasnt going to post this but I feel the police often get bagged on KB and some times its good to share the good side:

    Thanks for your email.

Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner but we have been working on the address.

Yesterday, we executed a search warrant at the address you complained of. We seized a number of items of interest. As a result, I do not expect the occupants to cause any problems in the future.

If the occupants do continue to cause the neighbours concern, please call the police in the usual manner at the time the incidents are taking place so we can respond in the appropriate manner. Can you also send me an email and notify myself so we can follow up with those concerned.

I wish you a safe and merry christmas

Sooooooo... if we plant some shit and let the cops *find* it they'll be in even more shit...
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!

Seems that even that doesnt work.

So I phoned CYFs regarding the welfare of the child. Two days later I hear these pieces of scum offering to burn my house down as they know its me that made the complaint. So I chuck the cat in a cattery and head away for a few days - if they are going to act on that I would rather not resemble burnt steak

Got hold of the local police and they say that because I only "overheard" the conversation there is no threat but they will contact the owner.

Bloody big ups to the local police as they did get hold of the owner and he is not interested. My only option is to sell, move on and make it someone elses problem.

So ...House for sale. Nice quiet location. Fully renovated. Sea views. Make me an offer

Why not rent it out for a period of time? surly you would be better taking the hit of costing a few grand in having the house and living elsewhere and low rent payments, but if you can keep the house you like?

That's not on. Keep contacting the police. Letting people rule you by "terror" is nothing. So far they have acted like they will do something to you but the general hoodlum trash talks big and does very little.

And I have to say I'm rather disappointed that bikers local to you have not been up at arms banging on your neighbors door and telling them to shut the hell up. As well as people constantly contacting the landlord.

What we have here is people winning by duration and annoyance. Your neighbors only have to do what they already been doing - that's no effort for them. You and people supporting you have to put in the hard yards to get things back to peace and either get them shipped out or shut up. I'm sure the landlord will have to do something out of annoyance just to get you to stop ringing and complaining providing you keep ringing and complaining.

Failing that, contact everyone and anyone. Newspapers, radio, MPs, Police, Housing Authorities etc.. The more public the bigger the profile, the less a small group of punks are going to want to do something - unless they are to stupid to realize it'd be obvious who's doing what with that kind of coverage. They were discussing bad neighbors recently on THE ROCK and arguments people have had with them.

Lastly, keep a log book of everything they have done and everything you have done to stop it - dates times etc...

It's a lot of effort.. but you will keep your home in the end and make your street a better place.

Agreed,,,,,if I was there Id roll up on my pink bike and spank their asses.....or grab some rough looking cuzzies and say "next time you f with my aunty my uncles ganna f with you" Its so horrible you are alone. I guess having shady relatives comes in handy at times.

You can apply for a harassment order, which is like a protection order (only diff is that protection order doesn’t cover neighbours) That way you can breach them for any unwanted contact. Also add a trespass order as that will increase your safety and hopefully help you decide to stay. ( trespass order only protects you on your own property ) You seem smart so these can be done without a lawyer and filed at court for free.

Keep the look out for child issues as under Domestic Violence act, it covers allowing a child to witness domestic violence. This act covers flatmates, relatives pretty much anyone in the home so if the party goers are beating up their girlfriends while child is in the home it comes under the DV act. Make sure when making a notification that (if there is DV, that the child heard or saw it) that’s enough. PM me if you need because if you contact them the info you give will be the difference. Stuff like where the child is durring these parties etc. These can be (if worded correctly) child abuse, neglect, failing to provide a safe environment. This law is crucial but not so known in its entirety We all know the effect exposure to DV has on children but you’d be surprised how little you know about the developmental, emotional shit this causes.... huge implications on child development, hence the provision. CYFs must act if a notification is made. (In ideal world)

    poor bugger growing up there...grrrrrrrr

Only if you let them. Re-read the thread. You had top fighting words there.....

They are tenants. They won't be there long. They never are.

And how did they get this info? Lodge a complaint with CYFs. Your confidential information was released and you want to know why.

Still.... a bunch of helmeted unknowns arriving to advise these pieces of shits of the error of their ways (verbally of course) does have its merits at times....
