If all legal methods fail, and they shouldn´t, then your neighborhood probably isn´t worth it. Getting good ¨help¨ outside of the law can be expensive, unless you have rellies or similar, though I guess you wouldn't be posting here if you did. So perhaps just move on out, either way, it will cost ya which really sucks I know.
So keep hammering the legal side of things, make lotsa noise with yer local council and, if no joy, keep climbing the ladder right to wellington if you have too.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

The problem is that now Housing Corp. rent houses in all areas. It is not that rare in our district to have 3 families of shitbags living in a house worth over $750K.

We have had problems with noisy neighbours in the past. What we found worked was watch them for a while to find out a weak point and use it against them. One lot were shit scared of 'Auntie' but when her back was turned they behaved like farm animals, partying from Thursday until when the piss/money ran out (usually Sunday). One day after a party I stopped Auntie outside the place and showed her some video of the latest performance. Footage included noise control arguing with the tenants, the cops being called and a fight in the street.

Within an hour she and her boys had thrown the furniture onto the front lawn and the house lay empty for 3 months. Bliss.

Me and I will bring cowboyz youngest too, he sings really good on singstar at 7am. I promise you it will entertain the neighbours big time, specially if they have had a night on the turps DAMHIK

I will most certainly not sell my house and move out. I spent too much time, money and energy renovating it to be pushed out by ANYONE.

Thanks all for the advice. Some very useful options to consider. Oh joy and its Friday night.....maybe a bottle of Jack Daniels will help me sleep through tonights possible party

Might be worth contacting your local MP. You never know, with the election coming up it might be surprising how keen they are to help.

I've always found that mowing the strip of grass close to the offender"s bedroom at the crack of dawn works for me.I've a friend who plays kids songs at loud volume early the next morning. She takes the kids outside for an early morning picnic with a ghetto blaster and has had good results.
If you lived closer I would help you with the JD's!

I have had this problem a couple of times, I leave for work at 5am so I go out to shed a bit earlier than normal and warm the SV up until I see their lights come on then go to work like somone else said it does make you feel better i'm sure your harley would be good for this

All these people saying make a lot of noise early in the moring obviously haven't had partying drunken stoned neighbours - they are so zonked out at 7.00am no puny lawnmower will bother them.Beleive me,I've been down that route too.

Before doing any of that. For gosh sakes.
Go pay em a visit. Tell em what the problem is. IF then the noise continues you can go down the path you feel most comfortable following.
