    GSX750F Katana bar risers?

    Hi All.
My cousin is having to raise the bars on his Katana, or find another more comfy bike. He has searched around on the net without success so I wondered if any of the big brains around here knew of anywhere he might be able to source some risers.

You may find risers on other suzuki models such as the Bandits may fit directly to the 750F top triple clamp once the plate with the standard bars are removed .

I was having a good gander at KiwiKats one last week thinking if i bought one I'd fit tube bars on it.

Most of the fittings for the bigger Suzukis look like they are generic fits. Also check Vstrom. Go http://www.katriders.com and you will find everything you need to know. Also lots of other mods for the Kat. With US dollar in decline it's a good time to by direct from the states.

If you're raising bars I would suggest an uprated screen, e.g. double bubble.

Very cool suggestions folks. I too thought about F1`engineering but wondered if something was already being made, somewhere in katana land. I've tried talking him into a Tuono or Aprilia Shiver but he isn't soft enough.

The GSX750F is like a happy shopper - so upright it's like sitting on a cruiser...so have I read this correctly? Someone wants to raise the bars?

I would have thought getting spacers made and some longer bolts would do the trick. Get a nice thick piece of aluminium say 10mm and cut out the shape where the handlebars bolt onto the triple clamp. Then get a drill and drill the boltholes through it.

Something I would do in the garage if I had wanted to when we had the GSX750F.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
