    Is this a quiet election?

Can't remember an election with less noise than this one. Hardly any speeches, meetings, campaigns etc. Quite enjoy a good political stoush but nadda so far.

That's because Labour's EFA has made it illegal to engage in any real politics. It is virtually only the political parties and groups registered as third parties that are able to initiate comment. Other groups (like KB) can only respond.

Dunno - but we've been told not to let any politicians into our 'shop' unless for a bona-fide complaint is forthcoming.

Bring 'em on I say, lotsa complaints coming from this fella!!!

The billboards are pretty quiet when they hit the ground.

    Damn those "strong winds" recently...

Labour know they're well screwed, so they're pulling their heads in tight and weathering the storm... they know if they wait patientily, Key is likely to mess it up all on his lonesome. I'm still predicting a National win, but only by the smallest margin.

I think the TV bit starts today, so there will be more hot air and noise.

Did anyone see Winnie on the news last night reacting to being the least trustworthy politician.

    Hilarious.

Yes LOL Excellent to see him lose his rag.

I also think the EFA has stifled discussion. I think National will win comfortably but unfortunately this will be a hospital pass for them. The economy is trending downwards, international conditions are gloomy, there will be lots of whinging and moaning over the next few years and the Government will be blamed for everything.

Labour having had a good 9 years will be able to rest content on the Opposition benches and snipe very effectively. Every chance they will be able to switch the popular support in another 3 years, probably with Phil Goff at the helm.

That's because we already know the result.
