Wellington - couple spare chain links needed

The last time this bike was used before it was garaged for 7 years was at Manfield with a small sprocket purely as an experiment to see how fast it would go. I've been using it around town and it really irritates me, so I pulled the silencers off and removed the back wheel. Original sprocket goes back on, chain goes on - too short to put the axle through! If anyone has an old 520 O-ring chain I could have a couple of links and a joiner off, that would be most appreciated.

It would be better, but I can't afford it. As it is, I can barely pay for petrol. And you should see the thing! There are many things it needs more than a new chain - swingarm bushes for one..

It has to be the same brand and type as the original chain, the only consistency between brands is the pitch size.

Rubbish. They're manufactured to ISO 606 B, BS 228, and DIN 8187 European standards.

Don't know the technicalities, but IME, Robert is correct on this. YMMV of course, but this is just what I've experienced personally.

The standards may be the same but pin sizes and plate width etc varies amongst manufacturers.

I have a new 520HOR 120 L Chain i bought off trademe that for some reason was the wrong size for my old bike. Make a good offer and its yours.

Thanks for the information. Someone has a new chain they bought for a KTM 525 since sold that they will give to me if they can find it.
