    Honda CX500 TURBO

    04 565 4445 0274 819942
the orange paitwork appears faded in this shot but is not, dodgy camera I think
As featured in the HOOTERS ON HONDAS private parade on the Rakaia river.
    1983 Honda CX500 TC Turbo.
48000kms 5 owners. New airfilter, New fork seals and forkflush an reoil, re bushed rear suspension near new michelin M48 rear tyre 4.8mm tread depth. Front Michelin Macadam 50 3.8mm tread depth. Recent oil change and new alternator fitted and brakes overhauled and new brake fluids.
I haven't started this bike for a couple of years and fitted a battery at the weekend and she fired up first pop and runs very smoothly, turbo works well wastegate free to do its thing, and rides well. Rear shock air adjusment 14-71PSI front adjustable 11-17PSI. Antidive dual piston brakes ( factory standard)
No tears in seat and the orange graphics aren't faded like so many other CX500 Turbos ended up (Any fading appearing in the photos is due to camera quality, later photos were taken in the shade to show correct colour) Paintwork is not perfect as you'd expect for a 26 year old bike.
Factory parts manual and pack frame included.
Will warrant and register when sold and fit a new battery.
These bikes were $10160 when the next sports Honda the CB900FC was around $6000. I remember the hype surrounding the development of these and the impact they made when they finally appeared.
Honda were a little crazy at the time with the sixes, v fours, these turbos and their inboard brakes etc. I stashed some coin away but when the time came they were just too expensive eventually about six years ago I bought this one. I've had some fun on it but now its time to let someone else have a play.
I can deliver to wanganui/Palmerston North for petrol costs if required.

what happened with your sale at $3911, then the fixed price offer of $3800? was it a dead beat bidder?
