    Cool Vote for smaller parties?

Did you know there are about 21 parties registered for the next election,
There are the main parties; Labour Party, National Party, NZ First, The Greens, Maori Party, Jim Anderton's Progressive, ACT, The Alliance, NZ Democratic Party for Social Credit, United Future, Pacific Party.

    But here’s some quotes from some of the lesser-known parties, I hope it gives you a bit of a guide as to how to vote;

    Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party
“It is fundamentally wrong for cannabis to be criminalised and subject to the over priced black market”
“I can’t remember why I’m here man, but it’s been a hell of a ride”
“Can you even imagine how many joints I could've bought with the money I’m spending on this election”

    Direct Democracy Party
“Make no mistake about it, “money” has become the new international God, the banks its disciples”
“The New Zealand Government at the behest of the many vested interests (secrete reference to Don Brash and John Key).. have sought to use economics as a weapon to dispossess us of our lands, freedoms and wealth”
“the true evil of the current banking system is its ultimate enslavery of the people”
“So where did the money go”

    Libertarianz
“To establish a constitutional republic of New Freeland”
“taxation and drug prohibition are outrageous violations of our liberties”
    “a lot of Buzzword Bullshit”
“large print giveth, but small print taketh away."
“Most violent crime is caused by a welfare-addicted underclass”
“education is one of the worst violations of our rights”
“If gay rights don’t touch you, I will”

    New World Order
When I did an internet search on this party I discovered they don’t put anything on the internet because it’s a tool of the infidel !
“a New World Order is just the beginning; Once in place they can engage their plan to exterminate 80% of the world's population, while enabling the "elites" to live forever with the aid of advanced technology.”

    RAM - Residents Action Movement
“promote a positive vision of a multi-cultural inclusive society”
    “GST removed from food items”
“Road toll idiocy should be rejected outright'
Their policy page on their web site is blank?

    The Bill and Ben Party
“the main motivation behind our political aspirations might be the free Air New Zealand flights and our own motorcade to Eden Park on a Friday night”
“they promise to promise nothing, although they realise that by promising no promises they are actually making a promise, that’s the only promise they are going to make”

    The Family Party
    “double-dipping democracy stinks”
Mohammad Yousuf – “My God can kick your Gods arse”
Richard Lewis – “my God won’t go anywhere near your Gods arse”
Interviewer “Isn’t the Family Party just Destiny Party in drag”
Richard Lewis “ Now that just wouldn’t be right would it”

    The Kiwi Party
“require parental consent prior to under age abortions” (???? say what?)
“Raise the drinking age to twenty”
“stop the Boobs on Bikes parade”
(Can’t see any one here voting for them?)

The Republic of New Zealand Party
“We need Men’s Refuge Centres so that marginalised men can be empowered to change”
“I count it as a privilege to have put in place a crisis help line service for suicide prevention. Hopefully they will ring us before committing suicide and not when it’s too late”
“We must allow people to bring out their angst, their pain, their hurt and we must create healthier communities here in New Zealand”
(Probably a party more attractive to Honda riders)

    Workers Party of New Zealand
“As 40 percent of the workforce is not unionised the method of intermittent skirmishing is favoured over attempts at all out strikes”
“Save the pizzas for the managers who have to get out of bed in the middle of the night when a strike is called”
“With just a month to go to election day we don’t need to worry about peaking too early”
“Workers should be running the country – as long as they don’t go on strike”
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on

If I'd been bright enough I would have organised a party called -"The stick it up the arse of the other parties party" - I would probably be PM next month if I had.

    Good point (excuse pun)

However being a person whom is suitable for the PM-ship I have considered this and believe that if more New Zealanders had sticks up their arses then our carbon foot-print from gasses would be reduced.

Undecided between my serious option: Dems for Social Credit, or my 2 not so serious ones, ALCP* and The Bill and Ben Party. A vote to any of them would be wasted as they will not get enough support to go anywhere but at least I'll have made a vote so I can continue bitching about the current government and rest comfortably knowing I didn't vote for any of the bastards ruining our lives.

*I'm not a stoner, never tried the stuff. Just seeing them in power would be hilarious. Dare to dream.

all the other parties want is to tell society/you how to live your life, and how they will spend your money.

libertarianz leaves it to you, and leaves you responsible for your choices

Their social policies might be worth reading from what I've heard. But I'm pretty sure they're in favour of privatising everything and deregulating everything and it'll only be the mainly wealthier biased people that favour from a lot of laws they'll make. Correct me if I'm wrong with an educated response, shit slinging will be ignored.

    Libertarianz for me!
I don't know if I want to see the government become exactly as they want but I definitely want it going more in that direction.
