Unhappy Bump goes the Bandit - throttle issue

Last night Mrs H's Bandit got blown over in the gale.

Fortunately there's not a mark on it as a consequence.

But starting it up tonight there's about a quarter turn of slack in the throttle before it engages and the engine revs. Is this likely to have been caused by a large jolt to the end of its handlebar? It landed on its RHS.

I can't see any evidence of anything broken or twisted.

Ideas please, in case there's anything I can do instead of seeking professional advice?

Undo the screws on the RH controls/switch block to see if the throttle cable is located correctly in the throttle groove of the grip pipe/tube. Sometimes the edges of these crack in a fall or the tube twists enough to let cable come out of the grove giving lots of slack.

Another possiblility is the other end of the cable(the bit that you adjust and has a locking nut) has dislocated from peice it mounts to on the carb bank. This is unlikely though.
