    Hi team, Macontour here

Hi team. Just joined up. Live in Auckland, 46 year old male. Have ridden bikes since I was 16 and for many years they were my only transport. Last bike was a 1981 Yamaha XJ650 until I crashed it in the Paraparas on the way to Wanganui for Boxing Day races. That was in 2002 and Mortgage stopped me fixing it.

2 weeks ago I took the big leap and bought a 1997 Ducati 900 Superlight. It is a beast and I had a very tough time deciding between it and a newer 800 Monster but old school won out. A bit like the reason people buy 1967 Mustangs when they can buy a new one I guess.

I am still trying to get the healthy car paranoia back and have already had a couple of close calls. I had forgotten about that crap!! I drive tour buses so am used to being given a bit of respect on the roads instead of being invisible!!

This site looks good, big ups to the Webmaster/owner.

    Take care out there.

Lovely to see the aged among us who keep coming back out to play. Although if you were a tour bus driver I bet you never stopped ~

    Welcome Macontour.
