Nope, it came first in Hamilton. And another lap or two it would have come first at Bathurst.
I still remember the crys of despair from the FORD contigent at the Hamilton 400.

I actually dont care, give me a nice Audi any day over Holden or a Ford, but at street car level out of the two aussie brands Holden wins hands down on looks style and handling

Anyway, I dont own mine, its MOBIL owened, I just drive it and fill it up with free gas
Ive run out of fucks to give

I think about f'kn Aussie car racing.
It was almost bearable before they went "Waaaaaaahhh!" and banned everything except Falcodores, now it's a total snoozefest.
Bring back the Nissans, BMWs, etc. Make it open to any V8 touring car.
Then it would be just boring, instead of unbelievably boring.

HELL YES, I stopped watching the Bathurst races after they changed it, I loved watching Godzilla clean up the Aussie cars, fucken brilliant stuff.
its like you say nothing but a big BORE now, iF you like TAXI RACING Bathurst is for you.

I heard that the Holden teams (especially HRT) are going to start putting Automatic Transmissions into their race cars.

Their drivers just can't seem to handle using a clutch!!!!

I was there when Skaife burnt his out on the line 2 years ago, then got sodomised by Perkins Jr.

Then Tander did it again this year!
I figure car drivers must be Apes. All they do is sit in cages all day & grunt

Of course there's nothing inbred about a production car racing series that has only two manufacturers involved in it...

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Meh I worked for them for 3 year's ( used to absolutly love them ) ..however nothing special im afraid especially for the money. Ford and holden... hmm about as bad as eachother id still take the holden tho .. trust me I was the die hard holden fan at one point but for the price of new fords and holdens to something in the japanese range... no comparison in all aspects..

you can not call a factory frod or holden a race car.... or anything close.

However the V8 Supercars is a hell of a lot of fun GO HOLDEN ( theres the old redneck, v8 bogan )

Really funny when Murph said after the shootout when Richo was close to equalling or beating his course record,Murph replied he would have to sack Richo if he beat it,said with a grin, but the eyes were saying that's my record, ego eh Murph, gotta have a big one.

It was big yawn....about as exciting as the Hamilton race.
I was out riding so didn't get to see all of it (thank god) watch most of it from about lap 80. Fell asleep in the lazyboy a few times. The first 10 and last 15 laps of Bathurst are the only ones worth watching, the rest of it is bullshit, unless you into that sort of thing, then its right up your alley.

    PS: We own a Holden.
