Mark Sainsbury is an annoying biased prick and I feel like smacking his ugly face. He hasn't learnt shit over so many years of Journalism.

You wonder why Winston hammers him and has got a pending case of defamation of character against him. He focuses on the most trivial stupid things that don't matter. Rant Over.

Key did a good job, very GENUINE. Old aunty Helen is pulling the same tricks out of the bag screaming over John in her manly voice.

Just keep in mind, what happend to John Howard I think Helen heading the same way

Amen brother. But I confess I switched back in and out of it for a bit longer than 10 mins...

But yes, both idiots, neither have a clue.

Yep, I thought he came across as more genuine and believable.
Results just shown of the phone / text responses showed roughly 32% vs 67% to him.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't on TVNZ on demand.

    Bitch.

seems like a reasonable thing to bring up, the debate was mostly about judgement, labour trying to make out like key couldnt be trusted. to bring up that he did care about the springbok tour, wanted nz to go into iraq, is willing to sell out the nuclear free thing not even for energy but simply to scratch the US's back all point towards a pretty major disconnect between a large portion of NZers and keys thinking. not to say auntie helen doesnt have the same problem with other things...

it is interesting to think that had key been in charge in 2003 we would have obediently followed the US into iraq. does anyone really think this would have been a good idea?

Lord Helen's voice was the deeper of the two.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Neither of them can have a conversation without resorting to shouting each other down. If one was allowed to speak they would ramble on padding out there sentences with 'nothing words' just so the other doesn't get the chance to speak.

If my kids behaved like these two they would be sat on the naughty spot

I wont be voting for either of them. We need the little people in parliment to keep the fuckwits on there toes or else the country would be fucked.

Content doesnt matter shit in debates like this. The majority of people judge based on factor or whichever party they support.

i turned it off after 10 minutes. Mark Sainsbury is a complete cnut for allowing his debate to turn into a shout-over match off. But that gets ratings i guess....

Please do not feed the Troll. Once I'm in charge only productive members of society will be given the vote anyway.

I thought Key came across better. Seemed to have Helen on the ropes a fair bit (which is pretty hard given her experience). He's certainly had a fair bit of media training.

Although, who was that bloke standing to his (Key's) right? Allen someone. Sounded a bit like Barry White? He seems nice.
