Nah sad to find so many bikers are also tory scum who want all the benefits of a civilised society without contributing to it...enough to put one off KB.

Sounds more like the description of a typical Labour voter to me

Sorry, please take your Duncan Garner signature red-tinted specs off and explain how...I know the left need desperately to force the Maori to support Lairbour but the situation is still the same:

They've met, discussed it, it's not a bottom-line policy for National but no formal agreement is in place. If the left want to spin it that National have agreed to ditch a policy for three elections hence, perhaps the question that should be asked of Sharples is "So have you agreed to go into coalition with National?"

    Agreed.

Left wing media are realy clutching at straws to make an "issue" out this topic.

Key has been saying this all along, the Maori seats are not a big deal to National at present but has kept the Maori party alert to the fact that they will be be at a later date if they ever get to that stage of development.

There is probably a lot of water to flow under the bridge before this ever becomes an issue for immediate action!

Clark asks the question, can you trust Key? Well I don't know the answer to that but do I "know" absolutely that you can't trust Clark!

If the voters are that shallow, god help New Zealand! Well, Tui moment here, Yeah right! John.

You're in good company - if you spend any time watching Parliament on TV it's reasonably evident that the politicians don't take politics that seriously either! Most of the time it resembles a badly behaved intermediate school class.....

Well Im one of those ''tory scum'' that you so scathingly and simplistically refer to. Im such a scumbag I pay my staff well and am very flexible if they need time off, as long as they compensate elsewhere. A fair days pay for a fair days work.
As a tory scumbag I really resent the excess tax I have to pay. I believe in social compassion and for people to be given a handup, but I certainly resent the fact that for many living off the state has become a cruisy way of life. And I include in that the oversized armies of civil servants. I also resent my taxes being squandered for blatant election bribes and for social engineering that is rammed down my throat on state television etc.
9 years of squandering a golden opportunity ( with high commodity prices ) to advance NZ business and real rather than artificial employment prospects. ( Cullen is a cocky little beetle who deserves to be squashed on the floor ) I hope an incoming National led Government will reinvigorate something that has been lost by many, the need to work hard to earn a decent living.

Its called an Expansionary Fiscal Policy.

Put money into an economy, increase aggregate demand, which will stimulate the economy, spur on producers to produce more to increase aggregate supply so that the country can get back on its feet and jobs can be kept.

Key has got the right idea (from more practical, non-theoretical experience).
