In regards to the proposed Coro loop on the 21st watch yourselves heading over there & whilst you are there cause there are cops everywhere & they ARE making a point of picking on bikes due to the amount of accidents around there lately involving bikes, roadworks are still a plenty on the Thames side but alot of the gravel has eased with the eastside showing lots of melting tar which as we all know is VERY SLIPPERY WHEN WET .

I was over there in the weekend & xmas traffic it seems is already escalating so bypass Kopu if you can, Waihi would be the best side to start with as the tar is still reasonable at @ 11am early arvo it's shit .
Yeah that was one of my worries, i can't afford to get a ticket 200km from home... Dunno guys what do you think about doing this one late february when the tar isn't so hot and the holiday goers and the plod aren't out in such force.

If we have to bypass kopu we will be fairly buggered!

    Dunno, thoughts?

Do you get a discount on your tickets closer to home or something ?

I've heard that the cops are out there in force on bikers aswell.. I'm not sure how long they be keeping the pressure on.

Hahah brilliant. Yep it was the bit about renaming the ride if I was there. All thought C is pretty close too. LOL

I am happy to tootle about here on that weekend. I am in tootle mode. I am trying a 'new' learning technique and am keen to see if it works.

Just a bit of a heads up - so far looks like 4 going to starship, Mr Kiz, Geeen, Silentninja and myself (I am sure some will come on the day) meeting at the new Honda shop 9.30 am. I actually want to go to see all the bikes, I bet theres heaps!!!!

Following week theres still discussion on coro loop and the LOL ride is going ahead. This will mostly be around town with some 80k areas a a bit of 100k stuff but on quiet roads and through some intersections (practise for new riders) but not to far away from Hamilton at any stage.

It was sort of arranged that afterwards we (me and Trina) would do a simple BBQ which anyone who has ridden with us this year is welcome to attend. (both LOL and the other group where-ever they may end up going to).We will provide food and soft drink and bring your own alcohol (that way you don't have to bring Waikato). This will be about 4.30ish-5.00ish and if you want to use the pool or spa's thats fine so bring your kids if you want. I will however need an idea of numbers by about Thursday next week at the latest.

I am sorry it conflicts with Geeens birthday party, but we can always leave the BBQ and go and raid his fridge afterwards.
