I would've thought so to - but I seem to do about the same, I've had to switch to the reserve at 210 once, riding hard on a road when I was continually gearing it, but I don't ever seem to get more than 230 before having to change to reserve regardless of how I ride.

Most places you look at on the web tell me I have 20 litre tank, but I have to wonder how accurate they are, http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/suz...200_n_2004.php - my bikes also apparently a in line 6?

I switched to reserve about 30 ks out of Arthur's Pass - only just putted in on 262ks (I was a bit worried not to find a gas station anywhere until I saw the one and only pump at the cafe) It took 17.3 litres to fill up a 17 litre tank?
    Must of been cold petrol.

The open stuff was not outrageously fast tho, cruising around 130 (except that time trying to catch up to Insomnia after a glove problem, but we won't discuss figures) [/QUOTE]

or when we went pass the Ulysses guys & tail end charlie freeked out I think his issue was about how quickly we court up to them not how quickly we went pass them all or was it when we over took the lead bunch on that lefthand 35km corner ON THE OUTSIDE

    YES WHAT A DAY!!!!!!

I work on 250kms on the 675. It averages about just over 6L/100km (according to readout). When the low fuel light comes on, I've got about 50km left. I got about 270km out of the tank on Sunday which wasn't too bad. Coming back from Dorkland I can get over 300km. So it's pretty consistent.

    Fuel Economy

I've got a Street 675. Mostly get 5.2L/100k. 250 - 300 ks per tank. Regardless of how I ride, except the harder I ride, the better economy I get. Use more around town without fail. Ave up to 5.6L/100k. Most times cruising between 120 - 150kph or more

4.5l/100km last Sunday. Tank range about 350km...
    Only ever varied about 5km/l...

thats pretty good mileage! I gotta 20ish Liter tank tht'll usally get me around the 250km mark in town or riding "spiritedly" on the open road. If I play nice its getting up to 300 open road. Never found out EXACTLY how far the reserve will take me (unlike Hatchet...) Most I've done is 30kms in res. and twas looking pretty dang empty

Haynes manual suggest's 24ltr, but i'm not to sure about that......when reserve light kicks in ( 6ltr reserve ) I work on @ 50 - 60km before went through the million dollar highway a few years ago & just as we kicked off the light came on so I maintained 100km & managed to get to Kawerau thankfully which on that occasion gave me a reserve of just over 80km, thankfully no that time............
