    Just a thought to avoid highyway 1;

    We can head down wairere drive and turn left onto resolution drive, right onto thomas road then left onto horsham downs road, left onto lake road right onto river road then left onto highway 1 thyrough ngaruawahia.

    My main reasoning is traffic and bordom SH1 to ngaruawahia is quite flat, a little dull and busy with trucks.

    Opinions?

    Did anyone find out what happened to the black 250cc ninja that we lost early on in the piece?

    And it had a stretch of gravel on it yesterday. River roads a good option, or the Gordonton road we went on and back down SH1 to Ngarawahia

    Thats right it did too.

    I was thinkin horshom downs road cause we don't want to be too repetitive or annoy too many farmers on consecutive weekends

    That quickmaps thing is cool, i am going to plot our past rides down on there and will post them to people who want them.

    Might need a bit of help to do them tho as my head is wasted with geography.

    That would shorten the ride, reckon making it longer would be cool. I am on those roads every couple of days helps living up that end of town.

    When everyone else confirms i will see if i can get the course notes and maps photocoppied or something, they both turned out to be useful
    This site is a little harder to use, not so user friendly, but has distance calculator and follows the road lines, rather than dot-to-dot

    Blah

    Ok My turn now mister koz and i are taking a battering because of the green kwacka green is the dominant colour so therefore you should all bow down to the mean green kwacka machines, resistance is futile you shall become one of us weather you like it or not. we will even except black kwackas as we know that there is green just bursting to get out and they look soo good in the photos. but now to next weeks ride the route that is being discussed sounds good lets hope the weather holds

    I am going to waste some serious time on that site i have a smaller coro loop designed that would be a good starter to that one for those of us who can't do 6 hours on the bike without breaking (old bones)

    Yeah they are all green with envy its the colour and the sound of the green monsters that they desire.

    Dave only needed one ride on the gargoyle and he got himself a zx10 and then he was all who will be next?

    Just sitting back and pondering over yesterdays ride. If we add all the times up etc the tailend group (Murray, Trina, Brooke, Eric, Tracey and Cameron (think I got them all right)) on there older and littler bikes did the ride in less time than Mr Tl1000s on his GREEN Machine!!!
