I guess the biggest thing for me with being a noob is that I don't know what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong. If anyone can help with what to do and not do to at any time would be greatly appreciate (of course this only applied to me riding my bike! I know everything else ) lol
Were are those winning numbers for lotto again..... Having to sell all your toys sucks

Righty, well it looks like we are all cooking with gas Thanks everyone for offering to help (and reminding us to ask)

This is one of the reasons i reckon a "getting on the piss" evening together is a good one, we can break down those worrying walls.

With the video camera thing i also have access to a projector and perhaps a largish lounge where a few of us could sit around checking out the vids and conversing about tactics etc etc, just an idea.

I may be able to organise a night at some stage where we can take our bikes somewhere and get the suspension and brakes set up right by someone who knows exactly how. I can't give out too much details yet but a small show of hands would be good to know so i can have a chat to my mates and figure out pricing etc (prolly not much)

Has everyone here who's going this weekend click the "attend" button on the charity ride?

And has everyone who wants to go into the draw ($100) to win choppa's zx10? (see my signature) - if you need a hand, give me a PM or a text.

I would certainly say they would be all booked out considering its only in 4 or so days time.

Does anyone know how often they have these training type days on the track for road riding?
Email hmcc@priorityprint.co.nz to find out if there are any places left. I will be there and am happy to help with advise if wanted, although on that day there would likely be better advise on offer.

Try the hmcc day if youre a bit nevous of having a 250 at a track, you will learn a lot more from riding a slower bike on a track than you ever will on a big powerful one.

If you can master the riding skills on a smaller bike then you will be more comfortable, confident and safer if and when you decide the time comes to move to a bigger bike. Not to mention you will be a better rider for it!

Vid session is getting pretty flash and technical but am all for it. We used all the time when I rowed and when I started coaching, had at least 2 vid sessions a season. You learn heaps.

If I had a bike that I could set up I'd be keen but rear shock only does preload so not much point in that

Thanks mate. I fired off an email this morning so we'll see what happens. If, by some miracle, there are spots available I reckon it's a good enough cause to get out of baby sitting

This was my logic, and when a mate has gone from a Duc 748 to a 250 you know they gotta have some value in playing with

That sounds good to me, I tried doing it myself. Its alot sorter than when i first got my new bike as it was set up for a track. Im going to take the zx-10 down to speed_tect anyway for brake and clutch adjustment and a wheelie plate.

I find some of those video camera's like Adam has, They cost $300, Might have to get one for the lawn mower.
