If you change the airflow on the in or the out, there's a good chance you will have to change the other side. Allot of people don't do this but you run the risk of running too hot (lean) or too cold (over-fueling)

overfueling is bad because your bike wont run right but lean means that the firing it too hot and you can do serious damage.

Best idea is to get advice from a place like speed-tech or get the specific air-flow of the new system and compare it to the old (if its possible)

Koz you sure your not sponsored by speed-tech? pretty much everytime whout fail when you talk about anything to do wh changing somthing on a bike its always speed-tech lol.
He's right though, if you diddle around wh flows and stuff you will need to retune. Not too painful and needs to be done.

Anything exciting happen on the ride? no one ran out of gas or somthing silly?

Agree with koz and ckai with a full system you should have the adjustments done with carbs you will need it rejetted with injection you will need a power commander or similar

They are the only bike mechanics i know and trust.... Who else could i suggest?

For anything simple i think people should be doing work on their own bikes or with a mate, when it comes to advanced stuff then go to someone who knows what they are doin.

I have heard a subaru running too lean "knock knock bang" new engine time its not a happy place

Have had mixed results with hamilton motorcycles front of shop but their parts dept are really good, never dealt with their workshop guys.

I take my bike to speedtech because they are good mates and they know what they are doing - not saying others don't know.

It would be good to see you come along on a wednesday dude, we have a great group.

while ago i was looking at the new z750 and the guy was getting shitty because i kept sitting on it, he asked me in a real asshole way if i was gna pay for it and take it home, then i told him "only if i can take your mum home" then he just walked away.
I know what you mean tho, you could walk in there with thounsands of dollars of cash hanging out your pocket and they will just walk right past you
