    Reconditioning rear shock??

Took the shock off my Spada today - no wonder the seal gave out. There's pitting on the damper arm (the chrome bit). Does anyone know whether this is replaceable by a shock reconditioner or is a replacement shock required? A new seal kit just won't cut it as it will just fail again...

I'm guessing you mean the shock shaft, and yes on most rebuildable shocks this should be replaceable/repairable. Best to PM Robert Taylor (do a search for his name in members list) he's not called Doctor for nothing
Or contact him at CKT (06-7512100 / ohlins@crownkiwi.co.nz) he's probably done one or two of these.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
