    Tools WTB/borrow/build/where can I find?

Looking for a Clutch holder and a 34mm socket to get the goddam clutch off the klr
I'm only ever going to use a socket like that twice, and cant remember what the 36 i have for the tl cost but it wasnt cheap!

Looking to buy/make a clutch holder though, any suggestions?

Go to a secondhand tool shop, buy one... man can never have too many tools. I've heaps of one off tools that I've either made or brought for jobs, never regretted any time or money spent there

Make the clutch holder out of a couple of alloy strips and a bolt. Scissor style, with the tips bent at 90 deg.

Take one old pressure plate and one old friction plate and weld them/bolt them together. That would stop the clutch from spinning.

Or take an old friction plate and weld an arm to it and stick under the foot peg.

At least that an old Ducati trick.

Bought a few sockets - 27mm thru to 32mm - at Supercheap last week. Only about $3 - $5 each....

Yep what he said - get a couple of old clutch plates and weld a handle onto them - or get yourself an air wrench and hold it by hand.

Built a clutch holding tool, now aquiring a compressor (which i've needed for a while) and said air wrench
