Yes looking forward to the ride report.

I'm not sure if accompanying Frodo to Riversdale and back was enough practice for him, but I'm sure you boys will rise up the learning curve over there pretty quickly riding that many days. Have fun.
    Cheers

Yeah , at least Frodo's got some practice in , I haven't ridden on gravel / clay / water / mud / rocks since the last trip in 2006 , hopefully I'm not eating his dust the whole trip. I'm looking forward to his photographic skills though

Worst thing is the Aussie has the same first name as myself...... looks like people will be calling me mooch ...... except the Aussie , he can call me "Sir"

    Update,
    14 days before tour.
Popped into local motorcycle shop and have purchased new water proof gloves and new wet weather gear. Have updating video equipement to new fandangeled Hi Def and portable hard drive for footage backup.

Checked digital camera to find that it's no longer working , however , it's worked out to be a "recalled model" so hopefully sony will repair and return before leaving.

Quickly trying to cram Spanish lessons , have transfered funds across and confirmed air travel. The tour orginsier is working with a local TV channel. Looks like we'll end up making a documentary / travel video for Argentine TV.

Quick update , haven´t had much of internet access until now.... We are 5000kms into the trip and are now sitting at the bottom of South America. All the people that have started the tour are stil with us which is a good thing. Frodo & I have seen som amazing scenary , Even if the winds of Patagoina have tried there best to push us into ditches or worse. So far far everyboday has managed to stay on the bikes (apart from an embrashing incedent where I dropped my bike on the first day only 50 meters into a gravel carpark ). We have since completed around 1500 kms of gravel and aount 3500 of paved roads. Frodo has taken 10 million pictures which I hope to share when we have an internet connection faster than dialup. ..... Mooch
