    Grandmas full of shit.

Best I could do on the delta was about 23,000rpm on the second time round the rev counter. 23,000 rpm = 170-180kmh

Fast straight and very fast banking sweeper. You could gear up a tooth on the front sprocket. I'm going to leave mine as is and see how we go practice day.

Going anti clockwise ( which we probably won't) would definately be worth the extra tooth.

yea brakes only slow you down, might just take th calipers, disks and master cylinder off and save a bit of weight

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

You take the intake valve out of the Delta so it was freer revving?

158kph at Pukekohe, 117 at Taupo and my regular speed anti clockwise at Mt Wellington is 86 and I have seen 94 recorded on the same bike by an "A" rider. Shows you what carying corner speed does for top end. Speeds recorded using a Cat Eye Velo5 cycle speedo that displays the max speed and set to the correct rolling diameter of the wheel.

How accurate are these cycle speedo's anyway?

Mine showed me 297kph at Taupo on my bucket so I'd say pretty good.

You'd better tell them that you were running a 8" front wheel too, Skunk !!!

What I said was true. The AX1R showed 297kph on the speedo. At Slipway the same speedo show 72kph max. Same setup.

297 isn't too bad. I got clocked at 312 but that was at Puke. No , , wait, that was the turbo. Both bikes are black and I do keep getting them mixed up.
