    Talking Woo hoo, nearly there!

Cool, I'll be there bright and early (I hope). Just got some slightly-used RaceTechs off Motoracer, so I'm all set!

I'm riding down on Tuesday evening and checking into a motel or backpackers or something. Is anybody else going to be in town on Tuesday? I wouldn't mind having a yarn over a beer

My mobile's 021 522 956, if anyone wants to contact me. BTW my real name's Sulav.

    Excellent tutor/pupil ratio

Hey bikers, 4 top tutors and less than 20 participants yields a 1:5 ratio that will ensure we all get excellent personalised training. Be there or be envious (Fred says it's OK to just turn up on the day provided you arrive no later than 8am and hand over the money.
As a rider that's currently a bit yellow that suits the fact that I'm as keen as mustard.

    Thumbs up Great day!

Now that I've recovered from the physical exertion of the day, I'd like to thank RW for organising the event and for letting me have a go on the Voxan (it's a deceptively narrow and nimble bike compared to mine!). I think I got what I wanted out of the course (more confidence on the new bike) and getting to know the lines around Centennial park is a big plus too. Now I just need to work on pushing myself a bit more and letting it all settle in..

BTW, for some reason Freddy Merkel reminds me of Brendon Fraser (aka "George of the Jungle"). Top bloke!

    not to shabby

i agree freddy merkel was a nutter. it was a great day if a bit hot. those inch thick steaks at lunch were nice too. only downer was there was a lot of standing around during the personal training. the braking session was fun but again too bloody hot. the feedback from the instructors was excellent. somehow i drew the short straw and got the instructor on the GS1200SS and he couldnt keep up. i followed him for a couple of laps and he had his pegs down on nearly every corner.
