Oh and say Hi to Alan McNiece down the road SH50 -from me and Dave at Tui castle, he runs the wholsale at Ahuriri.
Yeah does seem a long bike.
Its a keeper for me, in fact looking for one for the cook too. (Well she thinks that) But it will be for me.

Where does your mate live on HW50?

Cant actually remember! but past your place and on the right about 10k before tikokino- road does a shrp left and down over a one way bridge then up into a right and a left and flattens out- his farm on right with daffodils in front paddock and shearing shed just after the two houses. Ist house is a flat roofed art deco place surrounded by a hedge, his house is just a plain old weatherboard farm house 100m back from road -there will be a newish Commodore in the drive- has been since the early 80s!
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......

Sounds like yr healing up well mate, good on ya !
Been on the ol acc for a couple o yrs now meself and yeh not much left of the investments lol
Not the extreems you and Warr have had body wise backs at a point they cant do shit for me and i could well be looking at a new hip in the future, but for now i can still ride so will be leaving well enough alone, till the pain relief don't do it for me or stop me from riding !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Put it back on the road Dooly, the old girl doesnt look like she needs much to restore, just the Re hard chroming of the tops of the fork legs, most hydraulic Engineers should be able to tell you where you can get this done and the tubes reground back to size.

The thing is I have 3 road legal bikes, what with extra rego, and the getting it rereg and vinned etc etc, insurance, and living 28 kms from town I can't see myself actually riding it anywhere on the road.
Having 20 acres, it will get more use on my land. Had a ball blasting around the paddocks today, motor is sweet, no smoke or any noises, think I'll leave that alone.
