Honda to demonstrate motorcycle to car communication system

Honda has begun demonstrations of their Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) motorcycle to car communication system.

The system – which can communicate with vehicles from 8 other manufacturers - generates warnings to riders and drivers of other vehicles by exchanging of positioning data from satellite GPS sources, allowing information such as other vehicles on a potential collision course as they approach junctions.

I have a motorcycle to car communication system mounted on my middle finger. Doesn't seem capable of carrying good news though.

    Thumbs down

Yet another thing to stop drivers thinking!
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin (1706-90)

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending to much liberty than those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)
