Heres another point to ponder.
You have been a supporter of sensible drinking for a number of years.
You are on record as a clear supporter of sensible drinking.
You in fact opened a similar bar where sensible drinking was for several years the ONLY option.
If you then walked into the bar you mention at the same time as the above mentioned bellower .You find yourself refused service.
Would you be suprised?
Actually its a case of someone shouted me a "beer" whilst he bought a beer himself. Because he's refused service I miss out on my beer at that time. However I'm actually always welcolm at the hotel or indeed to buy my own beer but given the beer tap is now empty I can't drink at that point in time.
Dang now i need a beer

I was really keen to go
Good point made here actually. Newbies such as dpex may not fully understand, but crashing at a track can be extremely dangerous. Death, or worse, paralysis occurs, and often more than one is involved.
Arguably, yes, it is safer to crash at a race track, given there are no handy trees to wrap yourself around, oncoming vehicles to bounce off etc, but it does not mean that it is "safe to crash".
Perhaps a bit of marshalling would enlighten you, dpex. (I can tell ya, fuck racing after the seasons of marshalling I have done).

OK take a different view of what has gone on here. Me ...rock up to a track day to have a go. First time ever. Someone has gone on to an internet site proclaiming their aim is to crash ...sorry "splat".
Now ...let me see....will i still attend this track day....mmmm I dont think so because my main aim is not to crash but to have a fun day and gain some skills.
You had a person do the same thing to you at a track day and you came down on them hard. As I would expect you to do. Whats changed?

gosh darn it maybee some plain english then.
Dpex wants/wanted to inprove his riding skills. To do so He sighned up for a trackday. He also enlisted the help of someone thats been mentoring his riding as he is very well aware of his limitations but is mature enough to know that to improve he needed guidence in a controlled enviroment.
He in his exuberance let rip with some stupid smack talk about crashing and indeed wanting to crash.
Nothing is further from his mind in all honesty.
As a result of his comments his entry to the track day has been cancelled as has the entry paid for his mentor by him .
His mentor is always welcolm at track days just THAT entry fee was cancelled
I can see both sides of the coin in this one . From his point of view he was talking a load of shit on the internet not expecting anyone to take it seriously.
From the track day organisers point of view someone saying they wanna crash is an instant very loud alarm bell and raises all sorts of insurance issues too.-
Certainly I lost sleep in just the same situation with certain KBers smack talking about boozing and taking drugs night before a track day or others with scarey riding history insisting they were going to give one and all the learn.
I can't say that mr Dpex wont crash On a track day but I can say he aint out to deliberately wad his bike or himself.
