TV coverage of Paeroa racing 2005

    .
    .

When I sent TVNZ a "thanks for showing us the Wanganui racing" email, I asked if they would be filming/televising Paeroa.

And yes, they are. It is being shown on Sunday 27th Feb (though they didn't specify, I presume it's on Shell Helix Sport 3.00-6.00pm).

    Coooool!
Must remember to tape it. I missed the Wanganui coverage, and TVNZ want nearly $60 to provide a copy of 3 min 30 s of coverage...

Erik currently has my copy (long-play version) of the Wanganui coverage (about an hour of it!) and he's in West Auckland - see if you can get it off him, then send it on to any other Aucklanders who'd like to watch it, and then lucky last can mail it back to me (it's a brand new 3hr Mitsi tape!).

Good old TVNZ eh, and I thought they had sold all their portable sporting coverage gear to Sky.
The Wanga street coverage was tops, I never thought it would be all the major races, but it was, it was!
And does anyone know if Prime are going to continue their most complete Moto-GP this year, I like the full coverage, if only for the umbrella girls

They are. They said they got rights to both 2004 and 2005 last year.

    Paeroa's this weekend, right?

Dang. The vifferbabe was making noises about going, but we're heading to Blenheim for some R&R instead.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Nope. It's the 20th February so start planning (read: begging) now!

Thanks for the offer Lisa. I might catch up with you on that when you move to Te Puke, although I suspect there may be a copy in the whanau.

    Cheers

    omg...

I'd really like to watch some great bike movies at the rally. Like that Faster movie, about the MotoGP (I think), and Ghost Rider for those that haven't seen it... Also, any other good'uns!

    What do you think?
