House for rent, Forrest Hill Rd, Auckland

    Hi everyone,

My flat is desolving and we need to find someone to take over the lease on our funky 3 bedroom house until it runs out in March next year. Rent is $360 p/w.

Alternatively, I may look at taking on two new flatmates at $115 p/w per room.

If you know anyone who could be interested please PM me for details.

    Cheers.

Or better still, does anyone know how to get out of a fixed term agreement early?

    Thanks, I will do.

come on KB, you must know someone who needs a place to live? my current flatties are off to do the O.E thing so I may even be able to organise the rooms as fully furnished (saves them the hassle of selling it all off)

You can't you will need to get someone to take over your lease. Have you tryed talking to the landlord because sometimes they will let you out there plans may of changed since putting you in there. Also you could ask them to find someone while you are still there and when they have got someone you can move out. (All that from an x property manager)

Thanks, I'd pretty much guessed that, no harm in asking though.

Thanks Skiddy but the landlord is already pissy with the boys in his other house next door for their project bike being in bits everywhere (its been that way since March without much progress)

I don't want you sharing the same living space as me Mark, so don't worry, you're not on the short list.

I recently got out of a long term lease early. But we had taken over the lease from other people as well. The landlord has now grouped all the problems from the previous tenant (as well as the bills they didn't pay) with us. But if it is you moving out, I guess it doesn't matter!
Finding flat mates is horrible. Finding a decent flat and moving is even worse!
Best of luck with whatever you end up doing
I'm gonna make it so PC
