Ride departing 9.00am on the 15th November 2008
A fun ride has been organised to the Seddon Motorcycle Museum, Newcomer Street, Seddon. Rain will not stop us however if adverse weather conditions happen listen to the local radio station for a cancellation.
The ride meets at the Dodson Valley Attawhy Four Square car park at 9.00am on the 15th November 2008 in Nelson.
The rules for the road trip are bring your Motorcycle Licence and have a proven history of an interest in motorcycles.
We will ride the Queen Charlotte Road to Picton then on to Seddon from there the ride is very straight forward.
For those who don’t want to join the ride but want to visit the Museum you are more than welcome to come direct to the Museum, please be there by 11.00am.
Not a lot of people know about the Museum or even where it is. I have been fortunate to book the Museum out for the day so Ron Hebberd can show us his 1913 to 1979 very impressive collection of over 100 bikes. There are some weird bikes on display like a Jonson F20, RRD and YA125cc there were only 3 of these built in the world!
All ages welcome.
The ride has also been advertised in the Ulysses Club Newsletter.
