    Accomodation in Picton, 3/03/05 - Any ideas/offers?

    Hey

I'm going to be doing the South Island "recce" with Paul in march. I will be arriving a day early, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of bike friendly, cheap accomodation for that one night (Thursday 3 March '05).

Would be great to catch up with any KB locals on that night, if there's time and I don't get lost!

    Thanks,
    Dave.

There's a great motel at Koromiko -- about five minutes over the hill from Picton as you head to Blenheim. Next to the boat shop.

Fastitiously clean, good prices, good facilities, including secure undercover parking for motorcycles.

    Highly recommended.

Must have changed hands... They made us park the bikes out front (main road). OK, visible from the main road.

Pm Chic n charge or Stevo they're only a few minutes from the ferry and talk nicely to them
