Already had a chat to him and although the bike is mint ... it's a little out of my price range. He was asking 8k and i really can't afford to go higher than 7

well the problem is i DON'T have that much dosh ....... *sigh* if i did i would have bought it like yesterday but seeing as i am only working untill july when i go back to tech it is just not viable. He wants to trade for a 4 hundy as well ..... but if you read the q&a at the bottom you'll find he is looking for a cheaper 4 hundy....... so chris i'll give you 2k for that k5 you got... just run in and all

I had a go on that bike during my recent bike buying quest (incidently, I ended up buying a '96 GSX-R 750 last Friday). The bike's not in the tidiest condition (i.e. rusty bolts + crash damage to RHS fairing - even has a hole in it), plus the guy apparently bought it with the front wheel caved in. I offered $6500, but he wasn't interested..
