quick question - I had a Panasonic HD recorder that shat itself, but it allowed me to play DVDs and Sky via a S-video line to a projector. I replaced it with a Panasonic DVD player that will play DVD to the projector, but not Sky! Don't suppose you know if the LG will allow both formats to be sent via the S-video cabling?

I bought one for Gixser the other day. I have sky and it plays through it via the yllow/white/red plugs perfectly.

We have a s-video cord on our other dvd player. Could hook it up if you want me to try it out for you? Managed to use the live pause thing with the rugby the other night. Very handy!

i just recieved a lot of great quality hdmi leads, to use with the lg recorders, what a difference it makes, only 40 bucks per lead, normally 80 pm me is ya want one,, (1 meter lead)
