93 Suzuki GSF400P electrical bits

Help! Problem solving bits needed for a 1993 Suzuki GSF400P Bandit

I'm after a headlight plug (current one wants to melt so reasonably critical) which by replacing I'm hoping will solve a low rev miss. Current one seems intent on destroying itself. I'm going to ring round the wreckers tomorrow but someone may have one lying round the shed and wants to convert it into cash.

Not as critical but I'd like to replace the 2 spark plug leads and coil(?) and at least one cap on one side if the new plug doesn't solve the problem.

Parts from a GSF250 or an old GSX400 may be the same but I'm not sure.

I'm in the Wairarapa and only to happy to pay for a courier.

I think I replaced the headlight plug on my bandit with one from Repco.

Have you figured out which cylinder is misfiring? It could be crap in the carb, or maybe the idle mixture needs adjusting or the carbs need balancing?

Number two cylinder is significantly cooler than the rest after starting. Starts fine, over 4000rpm fine, idle to 4000rpm runs like a hairy dog. First thing to make a difference was fiddling with melting lamp plug with huge short (revved a little better so I'll start there then if new plug for lamp makes significant difference could be spark plug lead or coil is on the way out and needs replacing. Swapped spark plugs and caps to no avail so I suspect a carb blockage which I'll investigate this weekend

Took bike to local dealer yesterday and mechanic reckons nothing mechanical and running fine apart from the hairy dog low rev idle. He suggested a possible short somewhere with outside chance of carb blockage.
