Way hey hey!
You can't get into the street racing (Wangas and Pie Rower) without, I think, three club-level race meets completed beforehand. And I'm not sure whether Clubmans counts for those. And, let's face it, those street circuits are a bit fuckin scary and dangerous and are no place to start one's racing career as a newcomer.
What you're after, dpex, is Clubmans racing. If you want to do it at the Taupo track over this coming summer,
Pacific Motorcycle Club are the guys to call.
I was hanging out by the fence and watching you ride in Group 3 yesterday, by the way - didn't get a chance to come up and chat in pit lane, but I did note that you were going well, looking smooth and relaxed.
I'd advise you to chill and stick to trackdays for the moment, though, do as many over summer as you can, and then if you're super keen to step up and race, and your lap times are realistically competitive, enter the Clubmans class in the 2009 Winter Series.
Edit: But make sure you're in Wanganui this coming Boxing Day. Just watch. You'll love it.
